JAN 04 2026 Children's Rhyme - Goats on the Wall

A burly goat sat on the cliff wall
When one afternoon he took a fall
His friends looked down to where he splat
"I hope he didn't sprain his back"

The goat popped up and yelled up high
In a way you could hear from far and wide
"You won't believe what I have found
Way beyond our yonder realm.
All of you come down to me,
We should share these mighty treats"

And so they buzzed down to see galore
Ripened cherries strewn across the floor
They feasted all through the night on
A sweetly sour mixed delight
Though it seemed like something was not right….

Unbeknownst to the feasters of nigh,
Goats can't eat cherries!
And so they died.
